Heidi Davis - Administrative Assistant

Originally from Santa Rosa, California, Heidi Davis started as our full-time receptionist in July 2018, quickly transitioning to Administrative Assistant. Before joining the Rea & Associates family full-time, she worked part-time in assisting us through two prior tax seasons – and had a chance to really see what she was getting into! Since then, Heidi has been serving as the main point of contact for gathering tax data from clients, managing our busy front office, scheduling appointments, running office errands, and various other administrative functions.

Heidi is friendly and easy-going with a long history in customer service-type jobs, whose goal here is simply to make things easier and less stressful for our clients. Besides being a people-person, Heidi is also an “animal person,” growing up with many pets, including dogs, cats, frogs, fish, lizards, and even a tarantula! She adores all creatures big and small, and has two cats who she lovingly refers to as her “fur babies”.

In her free time, Heidi lives an active life and enjoys listening to music, spending time with her family, working out, going to music festivals, baking, and taking road trips. Someday she would love to visit Finland, Australia, and Disney World. Some of her favorite foods include sushi, Philly Cheesesteak, Mexican food, and almost any dessert (especially tiramisu).

She enjoys many types of music, mainly listening to electronic music, metal, and classic rock. Heidi is a big fan of horror films, but also loves comedies and classic Disney movies, her favorite director being Tim Burton. The best time of the year, in her opinion, is the fall, with its cloudy days, cool nights, pretty leaf colors, and occasional thunderstorms. It also contains her favorite holiday, which is Halloween.

Heidi has always looked up to her parents as inspiration in many aspects of life. “They don’t give up when things get hard, don’t stress over the small things, and try to find fun in whatever they do.”

Heidi has always felt very at home with the Modesto team of J Michale Haubert CPA, where she says everyone is professional, friendly, and helpful. She wants every client to feel that “you don’t have to do this alone, and we are here to help you. When you come here, you become part of our family, and we’ll make sure you are taken care of.”
